I was inspired to arrange this still life after seeing the beauty and simplicity of a daffodil painting by 19th C artist Henri Fantin-Latour. I gathered the daffodils from my garden and as I arranged them, they took on this crescent shape and so I began to think of the star shaped flowers as both the moon and stars, hence the title.
