"Red Rose" on NYC Farecard $35
In 2011 I heard about a cool little show in NYC called “Single Fare 2” at Sloan Fine Art.. Participants were asked to make paintings on NYC Farecards. I made several little paintings for that show and continued using the cards (obtained by my generous NYC cousin) to make little 30 min timed practice paintings. This is one of those paintings. Like most of the flowers that I paint, this Red Rose is from my garden.
